With its microfiber and technical fabric upper, metal-free SlimCap™ composite toe cap, and ESD feature, Lisbon offers safe, lightweight, and comfortable use in any environment where there is a risk of electrostatic charge, such as electronics, automotive, logistics, and heavy industry. Made entirely from vegan materials, the shoe contains no animal products.

SlimCap™ Composite Toe Cap — Metal-Free Superior Protection

The best alternative to traditional steel toe caps, SlimCap™ is only 6.5 mm thick, preserving maximum internal volume of the shoe while successfully passing 200 joule impact and 15 kN compression tests. It is completely metal-free, causing no issues when passing through metal detectors or in magnetic field environments. The composite structure, being much lighter than steel, significantly reduces fatigue for those who stand all day.

ESD — Electrostatic Discharge Control

The ESD feature of Base B1711E Lisbon safely dissipates static electricity accumulated in the body to the ground within a resistance range of 0.1 – 1000 MΩ, in accordance with the EN 61340 standard. It protects both the worker and the produced product from electrostatic damage in sectors such as electronic assembly, automation, automotive, and petrochemical.

SmellStop™ Antibacterial Lining

The SmellStop™ lining technology permanently prevents the growth of microorganisms that cause bad odors and fungal infections, keeping the foot clean and fresh even during long working hours. Its wash-resistant structure ensures its effectiveness throughout the life of the shoe.

Fresh'n Flex Plus Super Light Midsole

The Fresh'n Flex Plus Super Light midsole, made from ballistic textile, provides full protection against sharp objects such as nails, glass, and metal, while offering a much lighter and more flexible user experience compared to traditional steel midsoles. The "Super Light" version is even thinner and more consistent than the standard Fresh'n Flex, without restricting the foot's natural movement.

AirTech Antifatigue + TPU-Skin Outsole

Base Protection's AirTech Antifatigue sole system absorbs the shock force from the foot with every step, reducing the load on joints. The TPU-Skin coating on the outer surface extends the life of the sole against wear and tear, while creating an additional barrier against oil, fuel, and chemicals. It provides SR-class slip resistance on slippery surfaces such as concrete, ceramic, and wet steel.

LG — Ladder Grip Safety

The LG (Ladder Grip) profile located on the inner front part of the sole prevents the shoe from slipping when climbing metal ladder rungs. This is a critical feature for construction, scaffolding, and shipyard workers to move safely at heights.
