The best alternative to traditional steel toe caps, SlimCap™ is only 6.5 mm thick, preserving maximum internal volume of the shoe while successfully passing 200 joule impact and 15 kN compression tests. It is completely metal-free, causing no issues when passing through metal detectors or in magnetic field environments. ESD — Electrostatic Discharge Control

The ESD feature of Base B1711E Lisbon safely dissipates static electricity accumulated in the body to the ground within a resistance range of 0.1 – 1000 MΩ, in accordance with the EN 61340 standard.
