With a profile thickness of only 6.5 mm, SlimCap™ is the strongest alternative to traditional steel or aluminum toe caps, passing 200 joule impact and 15 kN compression tests. The special toe protection strip, which redirects pressure from below, provides additional comfort. It is completely metal-free, allowing for seamless use in facilities requiring detector passage, MRI, or magnetic field environments.

ESD + ATEX Compliance

Berlin's ESD feature continuously and controllably dissipates electrostatic charges accumulated in the body to the ground, protecting both the wearer and sensitive electronic components in the production line. The "Super Light" version has an even thinner profile compared to the standard Fresh'n Flex, directly contributing to Berlin's athletic shoe-like flexibility.

AirTech Antifatigue + TPU-Skin® Outsole

The thinned sole profile offers greater flexibility and better ground feel, while the AirTech Antifatigue system absorbs shock forces with every step, reducing the load on joints. The TPU-Skin® coating on the outer surface makes the sole resistant to oil, acid, and alkali. The special LG grip profile in the middle of the sole ensures maximum grip on metal ladder rungs.
