S3S Safety Class — Full Protection
In addition to meeting all the requirements of the S3 standard (200 J impact resistance, 15 kN crushing resistance, water resistance, puncture resistance), the S3S class mandates area-based puncture resistance instead of strip-based puncture protection. This provides a much wider protection surface in scenarios where walking over sharp objects.
ESD — Electrostatic Discharge Protection
With conductivity values meeting EN ISO 20345 ESD requirements, it ensures controlled grounding of electrostatic charges. It is an essential feature for work areas where static electricity poses a critical risk, such as electronics manufacturing, petrochemicals, and explosive environments (ATEX).

The aluminum toe cap, resistant to 200 Joule impact and 15 kN crushing load, reduces foot fatigue with its 50% lighter structure compared to steel alternatives. Note for applications requiring metal detector passage in sensitive mechanical and engineering environments: since the model contains metal, it is recommended to direct to the B1217 series for metal-free needs.
